On 2 November, 2010, a delegation from the Chinese Institute of Publishing Science (CIPS) in Beijing visited Berlin. Dr. Hartmut Walravens, Dr. Joachim Jaenecke and Carolin Unger had the pleasure to meet Mr. Wei Yushan, Vice President of CIPS, and his colleagues Mr. Liu Yongjun (Director of the Department of Publishing Theory), Mr. Zhang Li (Director of the Department of Digital Publishing), and Ms. Zhou Zhixu (Secretary of the Department of Publishing Standardization). We hope that the good and informative talks will soon lead to the implementation of the ISMN system in China. The meeting was kindly hosted by Mr. Andreas Lamm, responsible for cooperation with ISO TC 46 at the DIN, the German Institute for Standardization.
