The Music Publishers Association is the National Agency for the dissemination of International Standard Music Numbers (ISMNs) in the UK & Eire and has been operating since August 1996.
The UK ISMN Agency allocates prefixes both to publishers in the UK & Eire. Information received by the UK ISMN Agency on publications carrying ISMNs is processed for inclusion in the MPA Catalogue of Printed Music at the earliest possible opportunity.
509 UK publishers and self-published composers have obtained ISMNs over the years.
